Brazil's elimination against Uruguay in the quarter-finals of the Copa América confirms the bad moment of the Verdeamarelha. Because in addition to this defeat, they have the worst performance in the history of the South American qualifiers after six rounds (6th out of 10, with only two wins and three defeats).
As an Argentinean I enjoy this moment, but as a football lover I hope that this crisis does not lead them to make a 180° turn and Europeanise their style of play.
History demands (and football needs) Brazil to remain Brazil. The defender of jogo bonito, improvisation and dancing (in the game, in the celebrations, in the carnivals). The one who reminds us of the beauty and joy of football before data. The one of Pelé, Garrincha, Sócrates, RaÃ, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Neymar.
The one who must not forget that, although many write its name with a Z, it goes with an S.
